Precautions for Tsunami

• To build breakwater, water gate, and plant tsunami control forest to interdict tsunami or lower down the shock wave.
• To build higher breakwater in the joint of ports and city roads. And, to prevent water from the sliding water gate.
• To put objects which easy to cause the pollution in concrete walls with intake gates and outlets, and to prevent wall collapsing from high hydraulic pressure.
• To build shelters which is away from coast in uphill place and to build escapes which is away from river to make the public easily flee.
• To build some tall and solid buildings as shelters in downtown.
• To install billboard including fleeing path and emergency measures in the crowded place.
• To build broadcasting system along the coast to issue tsunami warning and direct how to evacuate and flee.
• Residents live along coast have to take evacuation drill regularly. And, to put knowledge of precaution against disaster into pedagogical materials.
• To educate the public common sense about tsunami. For example, if there are earthquake happened or quickly ebbed, the public should move to uphill place and inland.
